About George Roth

George is a founder, currently he is the AI Evangelist at UiPath. George is a founding member of the Romanian American Business Network, dedicated to bringing together individuals with an interest in the Romanian business environment. He also serves as the Honorary Consul of Romania at the Honorary Consulate of Romania in San Francisco and is a board member at Alianta.org.

During his early years in the U.S., George worked as a Software Architect on numerous projects for major financial institutions and served as the Lead Architect of SUMS (Security Universe Management System), a comprehensive financial data cleansing tool implemented by major financial institutions in the US and Europe. He co-founded Recognos Inc. and Recognos Romania.

In 2018, UiPath acquired the Intelligent Document Understanding platform developed by Recognos Romania in Cluj. Since 1998, George has become actively involved in promoting the Romanian IT industry in the Bay Area. Since 2008, George worked with many AI-related technologies, like NLP, Semantic Technology, Machine Learning. He has authored numerous papers and given interviews on Smart Data and Semantic Technology.
