Rubik Hub is more than a physical place, it is an emerging community, formed of people with mutual values, a desire to grow and a common VISION: live in a world where each person can reach the best version of themselves and drive positive impact.
We embarked on a brave MISSION, to develop and connect communities, together with whom we inspire, educate and accelerate startups from 0 to 1 and create global successful businesses.
Our timeline is 20 years, time when we know it will take a lot of blood, sweat and tears to make this dream come true!
We started in the small town of Piatra Neamț, situated in the North-East Region of Romania. Shortly after, we became relevant for the entire startup ecosystem of the region and our programs are today delivered nationwide. We are considered to be one of the most active entities in the Romanian startup ecosystem and we don’t want to change that!
We believe that the success we had so far had to do with the fact that we understood from the beginning that collaboration is the key word that we had to bet on. We surrounded ourselves with people willing to help unconditionally: startup founders, professionals, mentors, volunteers, representatives of the public, private or academic sectors, investors and believers.

Our Partners
We define ourselves as being inclusive and we rely and focus on the 4 main pillars of society: private sector, public sector, academic sector and NGOs. Hence, we developed Rubik Hub by implementing the quadruple helix concept:
NGO
Rubik Hub is part of the Regional Development Agency of North-East Romania, a non-profit NGO of public utility.
Public
The space itself (Rubik Hub building) was offered by the city hall of Piatra Neamt to be used at no cost.
Private
For the renovation and the repurposing of the building (it used to be a restaurant) was accomplished with the help of local sponsors – Dedeman and Dinamic’92 – who contributed with the amount of 120000 euro.
Academic
RubikEdu, our first program dedicated to students who are willing to consider entrepreneurship as a career opportunity, was accepted as a complementary pilot program in 5 universities from the North-East Region of Romania (state & private universities), within the first year of existence: Universitatea Tehnică „Gheorghe Asachi”, Universitatea A. I. Cuza, and Universitatea Științele Vieții from Iași, Universitatea „Vasile Alecsandri” from Bacău, Universitatea „Ştefan cel Mare” from Suceava.
