RubikEDU Incubator: The 6th Batch in Retrospective

On October 24, 2022, we launched the sixth edition of our RubikEDU incubation program. We received 40 applications, out of which we selected 21 with ideas that needed clarity in their startup journey. The program included workshops on relevant business topics, from validation to investment, 1:1 feedback sessions with mentors from our community, and office hours with the Rubik Hub team.

  • Ziora – Online reservation management & Online promo for beauty salons, medical and sports venues
  • AImVerified – Digital anti-counterfeit solutions connecting brands with their customers
  • CityRadar – The platform for public and private transportation
  • CareShaper – Mental health for everyone – management software for psychotherapists
  • Iesi la Joaca – Marketplace for events, courses and activities dedicated to kids
  • eEcco – Aggregator for sustainable solutions
  • Is4Heart – Increasing longevity and quality of life of patients with cardiac failure through the development of an innovative system for cardiac assistance
  • Epic Hooks – AI-tailored content & active recall learning app that uses digital flashcards
  • One Learning – The parents and kids’ partner when it comes to playing – for developing essential skills for the future
  • Gigzz.info – Marketplace matching those interested to hire occasional laborers with those open to make a quick gain by working odd gigs
  • Vocea Autentica – Bringing together psychologists, trainers and professional actors for helping people express themselves freely and creatively
  • 360 panorama – Customized virtual tours for real estate, hotels, universities, conference rooms etc.
  • Up-front – Match only with people inside the club you are in.
  • Ana Maria Peretianu – App for recommending specific foods and desserts worldwide
  • Gabriel Vornicu – Marketplace for private events services
  • Marius Gabriel Ciurea – Engine that creates learning paths as challenges (quests). Users can take these challenges alone or together with other people
  • Irina Paval – MRP (manufacturing resource planning)
  • Andrei Salajan – Second-hand shop for hybrid/electric cars

Demo Day

On December 8th, we gathered in Iasi for Community & Demo Day, to celebrate the graduation of this batch.

Thirteen startups from the RubikEDU incubator pitched: Consulto.ai, Doctor Digital Plant, Fujix Optimization, Ziora, AImVerified, CityRadar, CareShaper, Iesi la Joaca, eEcco, Is4Heart, Epic Hooks, One Learning.

The last four startups were selected for the final pitching session.
