We’re seeking a Junior Ecosystem Builder who is organized, detail-oriented, and adept at building relationships in a dynamic environment. This role combines administration, event planning, and stakeholder communication elements, and is ideal for a proactive, flexible individual.

Responsabilities

  • Maintain communication with various stakeholders within the startup ecosystem, utilizing strong communication skills to foster and maintain relationships.
  • Provide administrative support including, but not limited to, calendar management, taking meeting minutes, and handling general office tasks.
  • Assist in the planning, organization, and management of events. Tasks may include venue booking, coordinating with speakers and attendees, managing logistics, and troubleshooting potential issues.
  • Participate in various meetings and events with organizations involved in the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, both within Romania and other countries.
  • Keep up-to-date with the startup world’s key players, dynamics, and trends, leveraging this knowledge to better serve our community and stakeholders.
  • Participate in drafting, implementing, promoting, and reporting on project proposals to support the activities of the ROStartup Initiative.

Skills

  • Administrative skills: organized, detail-oriented, and capable of efficiently managing a range of administrative tasks.
  • Time management: ability to effectively manage time.
  • Event planning and management: experience or capability to assist in organizing events.
  • Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, as they will work with various stakeholders in the startup ecosystem.
  • Interpersonal skills: ability to connect, engage, and build relationships with different stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of the Startup Ecosystem: familiarity with key players, dynamics, and trends in the startup world will be beneficial.
  • Flexibility and adaptability: ability to adapt to changing situations and take on varied tasks as needed in the dynamic startup environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

What is ROStartup

ROStartup is a public-private initiative aimed at developing the first strategy for the national startup ecosystem. Initiated by Rubik Hub / ADR Nord-Est, it involves over 100 stakeholders from the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country and is supported by the World Bank and the European Commission.

The strategy is based on four-pillar interventions: entrepreneurial education, policy, startup access to finance, and innovative capacity.

Should you be chosen for this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of the ROStartup Initiative, become an integral part of the Rubik Hub team, and carry out your duties on-site at our hub based in Piatra Neamt.
