First of all, we would like to know who’s behind the keyboard.

I’m Sergiu Ardelean, a Romanian serial entrepreneur based in Austria and the founder of Artivive, a pioneering startup that merges haptic and digital art with augmented reality.

My journey allowed me to collaborate with renowned brands and cultural institutions worldwide. As a speaker, I travel globally, sharing insights and inspiring audiences about the exciting possibilities at the intersection of technology and creativity. Join me as we redefine the art world through the magic of augmented reality.

Tell us more about your startup. What problem do you solve? Who’s your audience? What motivated you to found it?

Artivive is an AI-powered platform for quick Augmented Reality (Spatial Computing) content creation. With a community of 350,000 creatives, we’re transforming how art is created and consumed. Our platform is ideal for artists, designers, and any creative looking to explore augmented reality in their work. By condensing hours of work into minutes, we’re leading the way in AR innovation.

Consumers and art lovers experience a unique, interactive way to connect with art, turning every encounter into a dynamic exploration. Artivive is reshaping the art scene by making it more immersive and accessible to a global community of 400,000 creatives and art enthusiasts.

In my work at the marketing agency, I had the opportunity to learn the potential of AR for creatives and storytelling by creating a new narrative. Back then, non-tech creatives needed help creating content in AR. Today, it takes hundreds of hours. We had the idea of simplifying access to this innovative realm for creatives, leading to the birth of Artivive.

We’re curious to learn about your team.

The wonderful Codin is a numbers guy and a good friend of Sergiu’s, with a fantastic trading and financial background. Alsom there’s Joachim, who was the CTO at the marketing agency Sergiu was co-running.

What is the biggest achievement / progress / changes you’ve achieved during our accelerator?

We managed to find the best way to tell our story, recreating our pitch deck, writing our blurb, and reaching out on the point. By meticulously crafting each element, we’ve not only enhanced our ability to articulate our vision but also ensured that it resonates with our target audience

What role did mentorship play in your experience, and how did it impact your startup’s growth?

We had the opportunity to work with two amazing coaches, Roxana and Radu, who helped us redefine how our management team can best leverage our resources and collaborate more effectively with our team.

How has the experience in the acceleration program influenced your vision for the future of your startup? What are your next steps and goals as you continue to grow and evolve your startup in the USA market and beyond?

The Rubik Garage program inspired us to fully embrace each moment and seize every opportunity presented during our participation. And what did we find most valuable? Well, it’s all about networking.

Think big. You don’t know anything, so test everything, and there is always a shortcut.
